The First Polish


Some bug fixes and polishes:

  • Preventing player from placing entities too close to enemy area (entity model goes red when too close and can't place entity, but I still want to add clear text in red that says something like "invalid location")
  • When clicking to move something, instead of a 'build prefab' it immediately follows the cursor and, upon selection, moves to the new location but still suffers from 'movement cooldown' as it takes a while to setup again.
  • Clicking anywhere on the screen outside of the action menu automatically closees it.

Future plans: Getting the game ready for a more playtesting-able state and shipping/marketing to a wider audience to get more feedback/playtesting.

The plan/hope is to get the game into an actual playable and fun state soon, so that it will start to resemble more of a game and less of a prototype.
